With over twenty years of executive search experience, Ted has completed senior level executive searches for companies ranging from global multi-billion dollar entities to privately-held regional companies. Through regular interaction with industry leaders, Ted remains in touch with current trends in the industry and can quickly identify, access and assess top talent. In addition to Ted's regular interaction on search assignments, Ted manages the daily operations of the firm.
Prior to founding Cover & Associates, Ted was Director of Executive Recruiting for Internet Capital Group (NASD: ICGE) where he was responsible for executive staffing with the approximately 75 early stage portfolio companies. Prior to Internet Capital, Ted was with Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY) where he was responsible for fulfillment of senior level executive searches within their Industrial and Private Equity Practices. Ted joined Korn/Ferry after working with a boutique search firm specializing in senior functional leadership searches in the packaging industry. Prior to his involvement in the executive search field, Ted was a Financial Analyst, Asset Manager and Loan Workout Officer for a regional commercial bank in Washington, D.C.
Ted also remains active in his local community. He served as a member of the Christ Church Christiana Hundred Vestry and as Senior Warden of the parish. Ted also served on the Boards of Christ Church Episcopal School and The Tatnall School. He is currently Chair of the Personnel Committee at Christ Church and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware.
